Honolulu Ki Society, Seishinkan Dojo
The Honolulu Ki Society is a nonprofit organization devoted to teaching Ki and Aikido to children and adults of all ages under the guidance of our Chief Instructor, Seichi Tabata Sensei. We are directly affiliated with the Ki Society, founded by Koichi Tohei Sensei, and with the Northwest Ki Federation headed by Calvin Tabata Sensei.
Students participating in exhibition at Kahala Mall Shopping Center | Benefits for Children - Coordination of mind and body improves physical health as well as coordination of other physical activities (sports). Our dojo stresses listening to parents and teachers as well as working hard to do well in school for a bright and prosperous future. Team work and helping others is also strongly encouraged.
Benefits for Adults - Coordination of mind and body improves physical health and flexibility and relieves stress. Ki breathing improves general health and Kiatsu improves circulation of Ki allowing the body and mind to work together to improve daily productivity.
